HEARTOFMITTEMyself my wife and 15 year old son stayed for 4 nights here in Berlin. Great location apartment fantastic. Right beside underground. Landlord very helpful. Overall a great stay. Highly recommended.
BERLIN WELCOME4Apartment was very central and easily accessibly to all public transport
URBAN ALEXwe were greeted at the apartment entrance by the landlady, who was very nice. The apartment was clean and spotless when we arrived, It had an excellent view of the city, all the facility's were as stated on the web site. most importantly was that the beds were comfy and the flat was quiet with the windows shut. it is very central, so you get the noise of the city. but that's why we were there. would recommend to any one.
BAMBOO HAUSAbsolutely recommended for budget travelers. Good access to public transport , next to the metro station. Near supermarkets. Very helpful and kind owner( Andres ). Quiet place. We will choose it again.
BERLIN DELUXEWery spacy and well equiped apartment. There is everything You might need. U-bahn and shop is about 100 meters away, but not too noisy.
FEWO 1384Large spacious appartment. Very quiet area (we didn't hear anything from the bar downstairs). Nice area with cafes and restaurants.

Berlin is a city that’s shaped by its history and that’s why most of its most important spots are related to it. The main example is theBerlin Wall, from which there is still approximately a mile left of it called the East Side Gallery. Other points of interest are Checkpoint Charlie and its Wall Museum and the Reichstag, the parliament building that can be visited along its glass dome, from which you can enjoy an amazing view of the city. Another of the city’s emblematic points is the Brandenburg Gate, an old 18th-century entrance gate to the city that leads to the famous Unter den Linden avenue. The German capital is also a city of museums and many of them are on its Museum Island, an island in the middle of the river Spree with amazing museums such as the Altes Museum (with ancient art), Alte Nationalgalerie (19th-century German art) or the Bode Museum (with Byzantine art). The new Neues Museum contains mostly Egyptian art.
Berlin also has an alternative cultural scene. The German capital is probably the best European city for nightlife and it’s famous for its lively atmosphere and fantastic clubs. The districts of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain are the most alternative ones in the city, with young people and street art everywhere you go. Mitte is the city centre and where all the activity concentrates, also the location of the famous Alexanderplatz, whilst Prenzlauer Berg is the most artistic district, a quiet place where you can find beautiful cheap apartments in Berlin.
The best time to visit Berlin
Any time of the year is a good one to visit Berlin, although during the winter months, the cold takes over the city and the snow gives it an even more mystical and melancholic feeling. During summer, the sun comes out and it’s perfect to enjoy your holidays in Berlin in the open air and in its parks.
Transport in Berlin
To get to Berlin you can fly to Tegel Airport or to Schönefeld Airport, although the latter will close in late 2013 to give way to the ultra-modern Brandenburg Airport. To get around the city, its and urban train (S-Bahn) are great to get from A to B quickly and cheaply.
Festivals in Berlin
The Carnival of Cultures takes place during the month of June, as does the Love Parade, one of the most important electronic music events in Europe. Meanwhile in winter, the city has many Christmas markets that are one of its main attractions
