Neighborhood : Wedding

WEDDING. Wedding is an old district around the road Mullerstrasse and since 2001 it belongs to the administrative district of Mitte. It hasn’t been affected that much by the architectural reforms made in the rest of the city, for this reason it preserves its original appearance, with some buildings in post-Modern style. It is a multicultural district (with a large community of artists, ateliers, exhibitions and cultural centres) and multiethnic area, with a lot of shops and typical restaurants.
Good public transport connection to the city centre, Tegel airport and the Fair area.

Hartelijke ontvangst door de gastvrouw, bloemetje op tafel en een opgemaakt bed in een schoon en heerlijk licht appartement. Onze fietsen mochten we op de binnenplaats stallen. Naar Berlijn-Mitte is het ongeveer 20 minuten fietsen, voor volwassenen prima, niet veilig genoeg voor jongere kinderen.

We really liked this apartment. It's large (by British standards), light and airy, and had everything we needed for a week away. The living area is well-equipped, with a TV, table and chairs, armchairs and a futon. Even the bookshelves had a couple of CDs, DVDs, books and magazines! The area is nice and quiet. There is a U-Bahn station not far away and a tram stop even closer. There are two supermarkets and a pharmacy just steps from the front door and a large shopping area about 10 minutes away. Anna, the contact person, was wonderful. She greeted us with a big smile and flowers, showed us how the heating worked, and her emails beforehand were really informative.

Wir wurden von Frau Vonnemann vor der Haustüre herzlich empfangen. Auch die Putzfau war sehr nett und pünktich zur Wohnungsabgabe. Wir hatten 3 Nächte gut geschlafen und sind mit der Wohnung rundum zufrieden, wir bekamen was versprochen wurde.
Die Koffer in den 5. Stock schleppen ist eine Herausforderung!

A lovely little apartment with a nice terrace facing a green courtyard. It was clean and fresh flowers awaited us on our arrival. Close to supermarkets and semiclose to U-bahn stations. Very good value for the money.
The Wedding area isn´t the most central but it´s not too far from more interesting areas of Berlin. Our contact was very helpful when there was a little trouble with the internet. The pots and pans in the kitchen needs an update soon.

Excellent séjour dans un appartement lumineux, confortable , agréable et très bien équipé. Anna est une personne agréable et très sympatique. L´appartement est bien situé, près de stations de métro , de supermachés et de commerce en tout genre
