CHARLOTTENBURG. The Charlottenburg District is situated north of the famous Kurfürstendamm, one of Berlin''s major shopping areas that developed in the West during the years that Berlin was divided. This part of Berlin is also home to some fine bookshops, bars and restaurants, mainly around the Savignyplatz, whose cafes and restaurants have been popular meeting points for artists and writers since the 1920s. The Europa Center, established in the 1960s as first German shopping mall with more than one hundred stores.

The location was excellent when relying on transport great to be able to use cooking / washing facilities big bright rooms would stay again+++
Appart. on 2nd floor, to carry up luggage..keep in mind; once luggage up, the stairs and location wer´nt an issue. Only one key supplied. Curtains were VERY THIN, need eye patch. Check out at 12, cleaner came at 11!!

Easy to come in contact with contactperson on mail and SMS. Very good location. Big apartment.
No aircondition (as it was supposed to be). When it is 30 deg. outside, it´s terrible without air.cond. Noise from street, specially when windows are openOnly one set of keys. Bad smell i bathroom. Low water pressure.

Looks exactly like the photos. Cute and comfortable. Good location- close to U-bahn. Contact person was helpful when the heating did not work.
Hard to communicate with contact person by e-mail prior to arrival. Problems with water pressure in the shower. No pots. Only plates, cups etc. Only one set of keys.

The area is well catered. With groceries shop just at the corner of the shop and the eateries all around. Contact person: Julia is very pleasant and helpful. Shopping and tourist area just a walk away from the flat!
