Description of the accommodation

PORTINARI the apartment is in the neighborhood Centro storico of Florencia. If you like staying in the very city centre, this is your apartment. You've got everything: relatively close to center and away from the noise. Nothing like getting home and finding a comfortable temperature, neither hot nor cold. If you think the same, this is your apartment. You could live without Internet for a few days ... but you prefer an apartment with wifi. You can get it during your stay.

HISTORICAL CENTRE. In order to visit the major attractions of Florence you won''t need to get far from the city center, a Renaissance wonderland containing a big part of the Italian cultural heritage like the famous Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo''s dome, the Basilica di San Lorenzo and the Uffizi gallery. Apart from this, you can visit flee markets, and traditional specialty food stores and food markets like San Lorenzo and Sant’Ambrogio.

A central location but on a side street, so not too noisy. Great double glazing for extra peacefulness. Fantastic view of the Duomo from the lounge. Owner was incredibly helpful.
A kettle for the English tea makers wouldn´t go amiss! Otherwise, all excellent.
