Area information

REALEJO is a central neighbourhood in Granada. Here you’ll find some important monuments, as well as an important commercial district. The only important public space of this quarter is the Campo del Príncipe, created by the Reyes Católicos (Catholic Kings). In the summer the Campo is a centre for night life, with may tables and bars surrounding it. In the slope that rises from the Campo del Príncipe there is a nice church of the Patron of Granada, San Cecilio. Approximate walking distances are: 10 minutes to the Cathedral, 30 minutes to the Plaza de Toros, 5 minutes to the Alhambra, and 15 minutes to the Palacio de Congresos (The Congress Palace).
