ALFAMA. This area is located very close to Campo de Santa Clara, the square where Lisbon''''''''s famous market - Feira da Ladra - is held every Tuesday and Saturday. Close to this area you can visit Panteão Nacional ou called Church of Santa Engrácia with the tombs of historic and literary figures of Portuguese national history (Vasco da Gama or Amália Rodrigues, the famous fado singer).
Marvellous view you can enjoy from the rooftop of convent of São Vicente.
This district is very beautiful, you can walk through small streets that cross several areas of Lisbon: from Mouraria to Alfama and São Jorge Castle. Taking the famous tram number 28 you will do a scenic route crossing most of the tourist neighbourhoods of the city centre. A definite must for any visitor to Lisbon. In Worth your visit is as well: Miradouro of Santa Luzia, Museu of Fado and Portuguese guitar, Azulejo Museum.

Bel appartement lumineux et confortable idéalement situé dans l´Alfama tout à côté de la place Portas Do Sol.La placette sur laquelle il donne est un vrai lieu de vie et de rencontres. Idéal pour les amoureux de Lisbonne.

ALFAMA HILL, LISBON is a well situated apartment in the heart of traditional Alfama with a splendid view. Very comfortable it made us feel at home. Monica was very helpful and on time. We really enjoyed our stay in Alfama.

The ALFMALA HILL appartment was wonderful, perfectly situated, clean, modern, well layed-out. Monica (the contact person) was great, on time, flexible, and very kind. I would definitaly return to this appartment if I return to Lisbon.
