ALFAMA. This area is located very close to Campo de Santa Clara, the square where Lisbon''''''''s famous market - Feira da Ladra - is held every Tuesday and Saturday. Close to this area you can visit Panteão Nacional ou called Church of Santa Engrácia with the tombs of historic and literary figures of Portuguese national history (Vasco da Gama or Amália Rodrigues, the famous fado singer).
Marvellous view you can enjoy from the rooftop of convent of São Vicente.
This district is very beautiful, you can walk through small streets that cross several areas of Lisbon: from Mouraria to Alfama and São Jorge Castle. Taking the famous tram number 28 you will do a scenic route crossing most of the tourist neighbourhoods of the city centre. A definite must for any visitor to Lisbon. In Worth your visit is as well: Miradouro of Santa Luzia, Museu of Fado and Portuguese guitar, Azulejo Museum.

Lovely location, easy to walk to & from with lots to see & enjoy just 5´ away locally. The next door grocery & bar are a great asset as the are open longer hours than other shops. Contact person Rui knows all you need to have a great time!!

The apartment is in a good location (under the castle) and we really liked it. Moreover the contact person was great, kind and willing to help with anything.
The bathroom could be cleaner.

Stylish apartment in excellent location, in the heart of famous and magical Alfama. Well equipped, with all necessary utensils.
We weren´t totally satisfied with cleanness of the bathroom as there was no tiles but only concrete and toilet was a bit smelly in hot days. However the place is highly recommended and I would like to stay at the same apartment in Lisboa!!!

We had a great stay in Lisbon at the nw castelo apartment. The apartment was very well taken care off and everything we needed was present. The owner was helpful. The location of the apartment is fantastic, near some beautiful ´miradouros´.
