CANNAREGIO. The most northerly district of Venice and the gateway to the city. One of its main attractions is the Gothic church, Madonna dell''Orto, or Madonna of the Garden. A short walk south leads to the Ghetto.Further east still is the remarkable Roman Catholic church, the Gesuiti. Heading south, towards the Grand Canal, another port of call should be the impressive Gothic palace, the Ca'' d''Oro. Nearby, the busy Strada Nova offers the best in Italian shopping.

The contact person was extremely nice to meet us at Piazzale Roma and walk us to the apt, because we arrived after midnight and getting there on our own would have been a bit complicated. The apt is decently equipped and well located.

Very central and close to transport and many places to see by foot. Extremely well equipped with many welcome consumable extras left over by previous visitors. Peaceful and quiet at night.
No explanation for certain switches near the front door. Hot water very erratic resulting in cold showers.

Super Lage im schönsten Teil Venedigs (Cannaregio). Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar für junge Leute oder rüstige Senioren. Kochen. Heizung, Warmwasser alles sehr gut - speziell der Gasherd ist prima!!! Günstiger Preis...
Das Bett sollte bald ersetzt werden.
