Sacré Coeur

The Basilica of the Sacré Coeur (Sacred Heart) is located in the heart of the city of Paris and it represents a symbol for all Parisians because from its entrance you can see nearly the whole city.

Built on the Montmartre hill, Sacré Coeur stands out from the rest of the buildings in Paris and you can appreciate its dome, including from a distance.

Thousands of people come to the basilica every day to see the sunset sitting on its doors and in the park in front of it.

There are musicians, artists and many tourists that enjoy the most beautiful moment of the day, relaxed in the basilica of the Sacré Coeur.

The architect was Paul Abadie and all the construction was done with funds donated by the citizens. In 1919 it was inaugurated, just after the First World War had finished.

The basilica is open every day of the year from 6am until 11pm. And it´s a visit that no tourist can miss.

For the mystique that you can breathe in the place, for the beautiful view of the city that it offers and to admire a beautiful Roman and Bizantine architectural work, you need to see the Sacré Coeur.

And for that, rent apartments in Paris and enjoy your time in the French capital of love.
