Willet-Holthuysen Museum Amsterdam

The Willet-Holthuysen Museum is one of the many museums in Amsterdam. It´s located, like many others, on the Harengracht canal and it´s in an old beautiful house that´s open to the public for all to enjoy.
Inside you can find great collections of cutlery, dishes and books of Holland´s golden age.
It also has a vast permanent collection of art that all tourists who arrive at the city can enjoy. The house that holds the museum was built by Jacob Hop, one of the city´s mayors, in 1684 and he was the last private owner of the Willet-Holthuysen, and its name is due to that.
You can enjoy the original kitchen and the garden, which was redone in 1972. Also, on the first and second floor they show the different exhibitions and the works of art that are part of the museum.
All those who want to get to know the Willet-Holthuysen Museum just have to rent apartments in Amsterdam and, also, enjoy this beautiful city full of attractions, from clubs to important monuments for people of all ages.
