  • DENPASAR. Denpasar is with about 500’000 inhabitants, the capital in the south of the holiday island of Bali. On the island, which belongs to Indonesia since 1949, there is an area of 5561 km2, on which there are approximately 3.3 million inhabitants. Various sights such as the temples and the volcanoes form part of some of the main attractions of the island, as well as its fabulous beaches. Denpasar is one of the main transport hubs of Bali. Close to the city is the international airport "Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport". Denpasar is almost adjacent to the city of Kuta and has a kilometre long, white sandy beach. It is perfect for sun-bathing, surfing, diving and swimming. There are a lot of beach-side restaurants, nightclubs, bars and all kinds of shops. The best way to move about on the island is by rental car or by taxi.
  • NUSA DUA. Nusa Dua is a city on the island of Bali, Indonesia, where in 2007 took place the World Climate Change Conference.
    The village is about 25 kilometres south from Bali capital “Denpasar” and the local international airport. Nusa Dua is a resort with numerous luxury hotels of high class. The crystal clear water and the white sandy beach are ideal for sunbathing, scuba diving, snorkelling or surfing.
    Originally this area was a large coconut plantation, which has today changed into a luxury tourism destination with shop areas, restaurants and hotels. The specialities of the restaurants are Balinese cuisine, seafood and fish. You can also find interesting offers to go out at night, from traditional Balinese dance to modern or commercial music. This part of Bali can only be reached by three roads, but it would not be difficult to move on the island by taxi.
  • BALI SOUTH. One of the main places in the south of Bali is the capital “Denpasar”, near the international airport. Kuta, with its long white sandy beach and Nusa Dua are the most important tourist resorts. Nusa Dua is located on the peninsula of “Bukit” and it is a place with lots of activity and famous luxury hotels. Here you can also practice diving and windsurfing. A local attraction is the Hindu temple “Pura Tanah Lot” (sea temple) on the south-western coast. In “Jimbaran” there is a nice bay with a sandy beach and restaurants with fish specialities. “Pura Ulu Watu” is coral limestone temple inhabited by apes which protects Bali from bad spirits of the ocean; it is situated in the southwest on an 80 meters high cliff in “Bukit” peninsula. The best way to move in Bali is renting a car.
