- HLAVNA STANICA Close to the main train station and 15 minutes walk from historical center. There are ministerial buildings in the area, as well as the presidential palace. The banks of the river Danube are not far away and you can reach them by a short walk. Near there is also the park Námestie Slobody. In the neigbourhood you''ll easily find restaurants and bars. Easy accces to public transport.
- ZAHORSKA BYSTRICA. Zahorska Bystrica district is a unique place which combines a peaceful and nice quiet location and at the same time is located only around 8 minutes drive from the city-centre of Bratislava.
Many of the rich people of Bratislava as well as diplomats choose to live in this district as it offers the benefits of city life combined with a nice and quiet location. In contrast to the modern neighbourhoods of today with its new buildings, Záhorská Bystrica has preserved its country-like character with its typical houses and huge gardens.
- MLYNSKE NIVY Situated north from the river and very close to the Old Town. By a pleasant walk you may easily reach all the most important monuments, museums and art galleries. Nearby there is the Danube and one of the main old town streets, the Dunajska: here you may have a look at the statue of Julo Satinsky, known as the Boy from Dunajská” a renowned Slovak actor, who spent most of his life living on this street. Very close there are shops, bars and restaurants, as well as the TESCO supermarket. The neighbourhood is well connected to the rest of the city by buses and trams. At Mlynske Nivy there is also the Main Bus Station
- CENTRE.This is the most interesting area from a monumental point of view and most of the historical buildings are situated here. The City council of Bratislava is nowadays the Museum of the City of Bratislava. The cathedrals and remarkable churches include the Gothic cathedral of Saint Martín, where the kings of Hungary were crowned between 1563 and 1830. The Franciscan church is the oldest sacred building of the city. This district is dynamic and welcoming, and you can take advantage of a big variety of shops and services, although the prices are noticeably higher compared to other parts of the city. The public transportation consist of three main types of vehicles : autobúses, trams and trolley buses.
