  • UCCLE. Between the 19 neighbourhoods of the Belgian Capital, Uccle is surely the best residential zone. Located along the park “Bois de la Cambre”, it breathes nature and peace. In this multicultural and green city (occupied with nearly 50% by parks and gardens), provided of an excellent public transport system, places such as Grand-Place, Sablon, Manekken Pis, Atomium or the typical quarter, “Quartier des Marolles”, must be visited.   • BERCHEM-SAINTE-AGATHE the commune of Berchem-Sainte-Agathe is located on the North-West of the city of Brussels. With a surface area of 2,9 km ², it has nearly 20.000 inhabitants. Berchem-Holy-Agathe benefits from a situation of great affluence since it is the last stage on the road of Ghent before arriving in Brussels. Many inns and breweries thus make their appearance to accommodate the passing travellers. The extension of the tram network integrates perfectly Berchem-Holy-Agathe into Brussels’ urban fabric.   • JETTE. Located at 5 km to the North-West of the centre of Brussels, but perfectly served by public transport, Jette is an old village caught up by the city, which became one of the 19 bilingual communities of the Brussels-Capital area. It has approximately 43.000 inhabitants and is bordered by the communities of Asse-Zellik, Wemmel, Brussels-city, Koekelberg, Molenbeek-Saint-Jean and Ganshoren. Jette, birthplace of the famous painter René Magritte, harbours in its territory the natural reserve of the Poelbos as well as the Park “King Baudouin”. Residential municipality by excellence, here, people cultivate the art of well-living. The neighbourhood “the Mirror” (quartier du Miroir) is full of shops, and welcomes one of the most important markets of the Capital (market of Jette) every Sunday. In this district you will find cultural and sporting opportunities that will respond to your needs. Jette is located next to one of the main tourist attractions of Brussels, the Atomium.
  • BRUXELLES-VILLE is the official name of the municipality located in the centre of the Brussels-Capital Region, often used to avoid the confusion between municipality and agglomeration. Here you can visit the most important sightseeing places of the capital like the Saints-Michel-et-Gudule Cathedral, the “Grand-Place”, the “Place Royale”, the “Palais des Beaux-Arts” and, of course, the fountain with the naked boy (Manneken Piss), which is a symbol of the independent spirit of the natives of Brussels. Don’t miss the “Sablon”, a very trendy neighbourhood, where you’ll find antique markets, antique dealers, art traders and other trades of luxury. In the shade of the gigantic Court of Justice extends the popular neighbourhood of the “Marolles”, in which a daily flea market has been in existence since 1873. The centre of the capital abounds with nocturnal life, bars or restaurants and you can easily reach any point of the city thanks to its excellent public transports network.
