• PLAGES DU MIDI. The Plages du midi are along the area called Cannes-La-Bocca, named after the red rock in the bay. There are shopping facilities, restaurants, supermarkets and various tourist and sport activities. It’s only 10 minutes by bus from the Croisette and from the Palais des Festivals where the famous International Film Festival takes place. It is also where the International Advertising, Dance, Pyrotechnic festivals as well as the MIPCOM and TAXFREE congress takes place. Suquet’s musical nights and many other artistic and cultural events during the whole year also take place here. So, it is a very active neighbourhood. Less than 1 kilometre from the coast you will discover two green pearls in the middle of the sea: the Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat islands that attract thousands of visitors each year.
  
• CENTRE VILLE. Cannes is quite a small town, but with many faces. Indeed, the centre itself presents different landscapes: the prestigious seaside promenade, La Croisette, the town centre with lots of boutiques, and the picturesque old port and Suquet hill which form the old town. The long shopping street known as Rue d''Antibes, parallel to Boulevard de la Croisette, marks the very heart of the town centre. There are numerous fashion shops, and you can find everything for each taste and budget, although most of the big-name brands are located on La Croisette. • MOUGINS. Mougins, the ideal vacation place to explore the city of Cannes, (located at 5 kilometres) and the charming countryside of Grasses (located at 10 kilometres).
