  • SEA POINT. This is Cape Town’s most densely populated suburb. It has one or two, sandy coves but the coastline is mostly rocky with deep kelp beds. Closer to the Waterfront, you will find the famous square red and white lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses in the country. The promenade of Sea Pont, which stretches to Mouille Point, is also very popular. It is a jogger’s mile and many people meet for a walk and a talk.
    The Main Road offers restaurants, take-aways and shops.
  • MUIZENBERG is a beach-side suburb of Cape Town, South Africa. It is situated where the shore of the Cape Peninsula curves round to the east on the False Bay coast. It is considered to be the birthplace of surfing in South Africa and it is home to the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences. Muizenberg has a fine, long beach that in effect stretches all the way round the top of False Bay to the Strand, a distance of over 20 km. False Bay, which is also known for its population of White Sharks, also has a shark watch service. Above Muizenberg there is a line of steep cliffs that is very popular as a venue for rock climbing.
  • CENTURY CITY. Century City is a suburb of the South African city of Cape Town that conforms to the "new urbanism" of creating integrated neighborhoods including entertainment, residential, retail and office components. Development began in 1998 and had an explosive growth. It is located 10km to the north-east of central Cape Town along the motorway and is traversed by numerous waterways, wetlands and canals. The Canal Walk Shopping Centre at Century City is exceptionally popular and boasts over 400 shops. It is a secure, centrally located area that is an ideal location for business executives, people relocating, holiday makers, conference attendees, golf & sport enthusiasts and it''s close to all the tourist attractions of the Cape Peninsula, The CTICC and the winelands of Stellenbosch, Paarl, Wellington, Route 66 and Durbanville.
  • MOUILLE POINT. Located between the V & A Waterfront and Sea Point, Mouille Point is full of apartments overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island and Lions Head. The promenade stretches along the beachfront is great for rollerblading, jogging or a sunset stroll.The lighthouse, which was the first lighthouse in South Africa, built in 1924 is still operational and can be visited during the week.You will need to head to the Waterfront or Sea Point for most shops although there is lots of petrol station with convenience store, a pharmacy and liquor store on Beach Road. There are a number of fine restaurants located on Beach Road, all with great views over the sea and Robben Island. There are no beaches in Mouille Point. Your closest bit of sand is just along the road in Sea Point.
  • DE WATERKANT. De Waterkant is a sub-district of the suburb of Green Point. The area used to be the old slave quarter of Cape Town. A number of years ago it turned out into a major residential area and became later on very popular. From De Waterkant you can walk to the city centre easily; the V&A Waterfront and the Table Mountain cableway are a quick drive away and the fashionable Atlantic beaches and trendy Atlantic seaboard suburbs are also very close.
    This area has nowadays developed into a major tourism destination where most of these houses are now self-catering, Guest House or Bed & Breakfast establishments for the international tourist. The Village of De Waterkant is essentially a business area during the day, where people regularly live, work, lunch and shop, while by night it offers some of the city’s best restaurants, wine bars and clubs.
  • GREEN POINT. Green Point is an inner-city neighbourhood of Cape Town, located in the north west part of the central business district. It is situated in the main road as Sea Point district, but just a little closer to the city. It is a vibrant, lively area during the day and night. Green Point is a place of lovely pubs, clubs and glitzy cabaret restaurants.
    These attractions work all night long, especially in high season and on the weekends. If you''re not a late-night lover, there are also many restaurants, delicatessens and coffee bars open during the day.
    Green point It is also famous for its big Sunday market, with thousands of stalls set up around the stadium, selling mainly arts products.
