Cordoba District Source
- CENTRO CIUDAD. Funded in 1573 on the River Suqúia, Cordoba represents the cultural and technological centre of the interior part of Argentina.
Centro is for sure one of the most important commercial, economic and tourist districts. In the larger streets, Humberto Primo and Avenida Colón, you can find every kind of shop or service, together with many tourist attractions such as the Manzana Jesuìtica (an ex religious complex, which is now part of UNESCO), San Martín Square, the Genaro Perez Museum, Marqués de Sobremonte House and the River Indarte Theatre.
The public transport connections are very good thanks to the various bus lines, passing through the centre to all directions out of the city.
