• ASSELN. Asseln is a district of Dortmund and is located approximately 10km to the east of the city centre of Dortmund. Together with four other districts Asseln belongs to the urban district of Brackel. In this area there are many family houses. It is a well maintained area, with many green areas and forests, which you can reach by walking. There are a lot of shops, were you can find all daily necessities. There is also a big shopping centre nearby. You can reach the city centre of Dortmund by public transport (bus, tram and train) in a few minutes, where you can take advantage of the shopping opportunities available. From here you can go immediately to the airport of Dortmund (about 3km), to the fairgrounds or to the stadium.
