  • LAPAD. In Dubrovnik nice pedestrian areas to walk and enjoy with your family can be found in the part of Dubrovnik called Lapad. You can climb on the Petka hill where a magnificent panorama can be enjoyed. Another pleasant walk is starting from the bay of Lapad (Uvala Lapad) along the sea to Hotel Neptun, following the seashore further to Solitudo and back to Uvala Lapad. If you wish to explore the countryside we recommend visiting Konavle valley (not far from Dubrovnik) with numerous small roads through the beautiful countryside. A picturesque park can be found at Konavoski Dvori, where you can also enjoy in the restaurant by the same name that offers local specialties

  • PLOČE. An area with the stunning view of town and sea with nearby islands, is an old part of Dubrovnik and a tourist zone. This elite are of hotels and beaches, the pleasant surrounding of villas and family houses is about 10 minutes walking distance from Old Town entrance (Ploče Gate). From there you can visit all historical monuments, walk around City Walls, enter the Old Port, go on excursions around the islands. The beaches around offer you all facilities including various water sports. Restaurants, cafe bars, night clubs, hotels, shops and other places to go are all around the centre.

  • PILE. District of Pile is located only 5 min walking from the centre of Dubrovnik, about 200 m from the entrance of the Old town- Pile gate, next to the Franciscan Monastery. In the vicinity there is beautiful parc Gradac, beautiful stone beach Dance and also the famous town beach Banje. There you can find all tourist services as restaurant, cafe-bar, rent-a scooter, parasail, sailing school, water skiing, canoeing, rowing, tennis, minigolf, mountain walks, bicycles paths.

  • OLD TOWN. The Old Town was completed in the 13th century and managed to preserve its beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. It is a jumble of narrow streets and red-tiled roofs. Tall walls encircle the city and there are two entrances to the Old Town - the Pile Gate leads to the Stradun, the city''s promenade. Here you will find the Onofrio Fountain, the Franciscan Monastery, the Orlando Column, Sponza Palace and the church of St. Blaise, city''s patron.

  • KONO. This area of Dubrovnik is located above the Old Town hence. It offers views of the sea, the Old Town and Lapad area. Like in all the city, there are stairs to climb to get to most of the places! Mount Srdj is just above Kono area. Before there was a restaurant on the top but now visitors can enjoy Mediterranean vegetation and remains of the old forts on the hilltop. The best bars and restaurants are in the Old Town, approximately 10 minutes walk.

  • ORAŠAC. This is a picturesque, historical place with beautiful mediterrean nature on Dubrovnik riviera, only 15minutes from Dubrovnik centre by car. Place has many chapels and churches(even from 13th century)and famous Soderini castle with restaurant in it. Numerous paths and roads give many possibilities for cycling, jogging or pleasant walk all over Orasac. Nice pebble beaches will surprise you with untouched sea and authentic vegetation. Everything you need(doctor, small shops, bars, tourist office, rental boat, bus station) is close to find. . For those who prefer peace and quietness and crystal clear sea, Orasac is the perfect choice.
  • MONTOVJERNA. This is a district situated between Lapad and historic city centre of Dubrovnik. It’s often chosen by those who want to rest in the peaceful surroundings of the Adriatic Sea and local parks. In the vicinity are supermarkets, post offices, bars, restaurants and banks. Very close also too the beaches. Public parking is available and one of the most popular night life places, the "Bourbon Street", is located close by. The Old Town is only 15 minutes walking distance and there is also the public bus stop in the vicinity.






  • NOVA MOKOSICA. This is a modern suburb built in recent time. Is situated in the most beautiful and environmentally protected bay of Rijeka Dubrovacka. Due to its quite, beauty and mild climate, mainly because of the influence of small river Ombla, this part was the favorite resting-place of Dubrovnik patricians who build their renaissance summer palaces here. You can still find along the shores of Rijeka Dubrovacka the remains of those palaces. The nearby marina is an excellent starting point for the excursions to attractive surroundings

  • MOKOŠICA. It''s a quiet, residential area, 6 km from Dubrovnik''s city centre, where you may find the basic services, but not so many bars and restaurants. Located in the bay of Rijeka Dubrovčka, close to the modern suburb Nova Mokošica, built in the 80''s of the previous Century. The area is known for the ancient summer palaces of the Dubrovnik''s nobles, shipowners and ship captains, although many of them are now in ruins. Some are dated back to XVI Century, like for example the old residences of the families Bunića, Ranjine e Zamanjića (this one also provided with a small chapel). In the nearby, in Petrovo Selo, there are the ruins of a Medieval Church of St. Pancras. The Rijeka Dubrovačka is suitable for rawing and fishing.
  • BOSANKA. The village is 10 min by car from the city centre : a good option to stay in a quiter place. In the area there is the Srđ fortress, worth a visit. You will enjoy great views from here. In the village there is the restaurant “konoba Dubrava”. A mini bus and taxis connect Bosanka with Dubrovnik’s centre.

  • PLAT: Plat is a peaceful resort conveniently situated between Dubrovnik and Cavtat (pronounced Tsavtat). It is a very small resort and there are some facilities like the Plat Tavern and the beaches....
    There is a bus stop at the top of the hill where you can get regular buses (every half hour) into Dubrovnik or Cavtat. There are also taxi boats which go from the small jetty in Plat to Dubrovnik and Cavtat. The timetables can be somewhat unreliable (it is best to book in advance) and it is a more expensive way to travel but the boat trip to Dubrovnik is an experience not to be missed.
    Plat is an ideal location for exploring the spectacular Dubrovnik coastline. Ston and Mali Ston are about an hour''s drive from Plat and are well worth a visit
  • CAVTAT. Cavtat is a small city in Croatia situated 15 km to the south of Dubrovnik. The city has his special charm thanks to many structures of the Republic of Dubrovnik period. Most of the historic monuments belong to the Gothic or Renaissance architectural style.
    Among the attractions of Cavtat you can find the Rector''s Palace, the Baroque church of St. Nikola, the Franciscan monastery, the Vlaho Bukovac Art Gallery… The region of Cavtat is attracting tourists because of the Mediterranean vegetation that covers the entire domain and its non polluted sea. The bars and the restaurants in front of the sea offer many local specialties. The connections to the nearby include boat and buses lines.
