  • CENTRO STORICO. In order to visit the major attractions of Florence you won''t need to get far from the city center, a Renaissance wonderland containing a big part of the Italian cultural heritage like the famous Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo''s dome, the Basilica di San Lorenzo and the Uffizi gallery. Apart from this, you can visit flee markets, and traditional specialty food stores and food markets like San Lorenzo and Sant’Ambrogio.

  • FORTEZZA E STAZIONE.The Fortress, of the XVI century, is one of the oldest italian “cittadella”. Nowadays its purpose is completely different: actually it gives ospitality to the main trade show in Florence: the Congress Palace and the business Palace where important fairs, fashion shows, art exhibitions and events take place. We need to underline its proximity to the central railway station SANTA MARIA NOVELLA, departure point to the main italian and international destinations.

  • PIAZZA LIBERTA. Despite its central location, the Piazza libertà (the liberty Sqaure) is actually a relatively quiet part of Florence. In its surroundings there are div. botanic gardens and museums. Further objects of interest are the cathedral „Santa Maria del Fiore“ and the old town of Florence, which in 1982 was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Everything is easily reached by foot. However, there is also a very good public transport system.
  • PORTA AL PRATO. This is in the historical center of Florence, next to Santa Maria Novella church and the Puccini theatre. It’s not to far also from Ponte della Vittoria and the green zone of the city, the Cascine park . The area is besides characterized for the presence of supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants and the hippodrome
  • PIAZZA DI SANTA CROCE. Piazza di Santa Croce is a ''Renaissance square'', where perfect and impressive architectural geometry has been designed around the life of the community and its citizens. Piazza Santa Croce represents the natural landmark for all the area, Santa Croce is one of the major tourist centers of the town. The district still conserves the antique atmosphere of the city, especially in the narrow. Santa Croce is full of top-end wine bars, restaurants, gelaterias, bars and pubs.

  • SAN FREDIANO. The zone of San Frediano is situated in an ideal position for people who want to visit the center of Florence. It is not too far from the most important park of the city, the Boboli garden, and Pitti Palace. In addition, the district could be interesting by night, due to the presence of numerous ethnic bars, wine cellars and restaurants
  • PORTA ROMANA. Not too far from Michelangelo square, Porta Romana made part of the XIV century city wall. The zone is near the main tourist attractions of Florence, like Pitti Palace and the wonderful Garden of Boboli. The district moreover can be considered a calm residential area, even if it is situated in the historical heart of the city
  • PIAZZALE MICHELANGELO. The square takes its name from the idea of arquitect Poggi to dedicate this square to the works of Michelangelo, with a beautiful statue of David in the middle. From here is it possible to enjoy une of the most beatiful view in the world, especially at sunset. From here is it possible to see Santa Croce, Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo. The square has many bars and restaurants.
  • SAN LORENZO. In the heart of Florence, in the pedestrian district of San Lorenzo, only at 5 minutes walking from the railway station S.M.N. Next to the historical and artistics interest places and monuments like: the Duomo, the Battistero, the Medice Chapel, Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio.
    At the typical San Lorenzo district one of the most lively markets of the city. The San Lorenzo Central Market, built in 1860 when the capital city of the reign of Italy was transfered from Torino to Florence. The market has a no end of shops and stalls that make of it a natural market that offers any kind of products, traditional wineries, cart of "tripes", canteens and porterhouses of cheap prices that allow you to taste the antic flavours from Florence while sit in one of the most lively and picturesque squares of the city.
  • MONTESPERTOLI.Montespertoli is located at only 25km from Florence. The area have many rolling hills with several castles who are now the seat of major wine producing estates. It’s a very nice place to walk and to go around with a mountain bike. At the same time, situated not far away from the highway “superstrada”, famous towns such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa or Siena are easy to reach and if you want to enjoy the panorama given following the curved small typical streets of Tuscany, you will have the chance to visit Vinci or San Gimignano.
    There are a number of famous castles in the area, including Lucardo, Botinaccio, Poppiano, Montefugoni and Sonnino, and the Renaissance church of Sant''Andrea in Montespertoli.






  • MONTORSOLI. The apartment is in Montorsoli, a small country on the hills that surround Florence, and represents the ideal place to admire the Florentine landscape. In a few minutes you can get by car or bus to the historical center of Florence, or reach the Mugello (where there’s the International Car Track) the Chianti zone and the etruscan ruins of Fiesole. Furthermore, you can find restaurants, pizzerias and shops.
  • ELLERA-COMPIOBBI. This is a neighboured of Fiesole and is located around 10 km away from downtown Florence. Following the right bank of the river Arno you can easily reach by bus or car, or even by train, this small and lovely village dipped in a countryside of rare beauty, where the good wine is the king. During the night you can join the residents in the pub and have a nice time with them. If you enjoy running, biking or just want to have a nice walk, this will be the right place for you. You can find in the village all facilities, like restaurants and small shops where you can buy food and drinks.
    From Florence it is possible to reach the village by train, stop at Compiobbi (8-10 min).

  • IMPRUNETA 12 km away from Florence, the area is famous especially for its terracotta tradition. It has been developing from the Middle Ages and nowadays it is a highly valued heritage. Today the production is both of an industrial and artisan nature. There are also some monuments that are worth a visit, like for example the Sanctuary Santa Maria ad Impruneta or the house Golf dell’Ugolino. Impruneta is an area with many vineyards and olive trees. In the shops you can find the best wines and olive oils produced on the hills that surround Florence. The last Sunday in September a Grape Feast takes place: the most original part of it is a parade of typical carriages. October is the month of the traditional fair Feria di San Luca, which for centuries used to be the most important cattle fair In Tuscany. Nowadays, during the fair, cultural and sports events are also organized. From here you can easily reach Florence by bus.
  • COVERCIANO-CAMPO DI MARTE. Coverciano-Campo di Marte district is situated in the southern part of Florence. Coverciano is well-known for being the technical headquarters of FIGC (the Italian Soccer Association) and the place where the Italian soccer team trains.
    In Campo di Marte (also named “Quartiere 2”), located next to the train station and Artemio Franchi Stadium, you can find Saschall Theatre.
    If you catch the bus (number 11-17) you can get to Florence city centre in a few minutes and visit some of the most important tourist attractions.

  • FIGLINE VALDARNO. The medieval town of Figline Valdarno lies in a beautiful Tuscan valley just 25 kilometres south to Florence centre. Figline is very interesting by an historical point of view, and for its folkloristic-cultural traditions.

    During the year many public events take place in the main place of the town, attracting many inhabitants and tourists.

    In the centre of the town you can visit some historical "jewel" like the Logge del Vecchio Spedale Serristori, Collegiata, the Church and the Cloister of San Francesco, Palazzo Pretorio and the Theatre of Bonaparte. What makes Figline Valdarno an interesting tourist destination is the geographic position, perfect for excursions in Chianti area and only few kilometres faraway from Florence, Arezzo and Siena.


  • PIAN DEI GIULLARI-ARCETRI. Plan dei Giullari-Arcetri is an amazing place in the green hills just outside the city centre of Florence. Here you will find many monuments like “Villa il Gioiello” house of the political exile of Galileo Galilei, the church of San Leonardo in Arcetri, the Convent of San Matteo, the Astrophysical Observatory of Arcetri and the villa where Francesco Guicciardini died. It’s really interesting visiting “Torre del Gallo” Tower, originally meant to be part of a real castle and hosting soon the Museum of the Astronomy dedicated to Galileo Galilei.
