  • ALBAICÍN. The neighborhood of the Albaicin is built on a hill what turns it into a privileged viewing-point of the Alhambra. From the Plaza of Saint Nicholas the numerous churches can be crossed, for example: Saint Nicholas, Saint Salvador, Saint Juan and Saint Jose. It is the most typical neighborhood of the city, here got up the first Arabic fortress of Granada. You can find remains of the walls of the epoch Nazarí.

  • PARQUE DE CUBILLAS. The Urbanization Parque del Cubillas is located approximately 12 km from the centre of Granada. It is a residential housing development, close to Embalse del Cubillas, a natural environment with pine forest which is ideal for outdoor activities (walks, hiking, tennis, football, aquatic activities, etc.) Due to its proximity to the motorway, it has a comfortable and easy access to the city.
    Within this housing development, you can also find a supermarket, a bar and in the vicinity a petrol station, restaurants and a golf course can also be found.
    From here you also have access to the big supermarkets and leisure centres of the city.
    Close to the dual carriageway there are also big carparks and nearby you can find some of the most important monuments (the Cathedral, the Park of the Sciences, the Alhambra, the Sierra Nevada as well as the city centre). There is also a bus service provided from 7.30am to 22pm.


  • ZAIDIN-VERGELES (or simply the Zaidín) is a neighbourhood in the city of Granada and is placed in the south zone of the Granada capital (approximately 30 minutes walking from the centre). It takes its name from the Arabic term "Saedin" (" water arm” or " land between rivers "). It is well-known thanks to the Sport’s Palace and the summer rock festival Zaidin that has taken place since 1983 outdoors in different squares and streets of this neighborhood and it marks the end of summer and the reception of the university population by the city. It is organized by the Residents Association of neighbourhood and it is opened to public and free what encourages to the congregation of multitudes year after year. Every Saturday the colourful market with fruits, vegetables and clothes gives a good occasion to enjoy the neighbourhood.

  • HIJAR: is a part of Cullar Vega and is close to Granada. It is only 9 Km from Granada, and by car on new highway, the GR-NO-5, you get in ten minutes to Granada. Also the public trasport connects this very calm village with Granada. You will find here all facilities: shops, supermarkets, restaurants.

  • DUDAR is an Andalusian municipality placed in the oriental edge of the Vega of Granada (province of Granada). It borders on Beas''s municipalities of Granada, Quéntar, Güéjar Sierra, Pines Genil and Granada. .Dúdar is located in the depression that separates the mountainous clump of Sierra Nevada from the Nature reserve of Huétor''s Saw and there preserves the fascination of the highland peoples villages in spite of being closely together of the capital (approximately 15 minutes in bus). The Dúdar''s most curious, and something that is called the attention of the visitors, is the total absence of constructions of modern impact in the urban hull, which allows it to support the “tipismo” of the highland localities. And on the other hand, from any point of the suburbs splendid landscapes can be enjoyed thanks to his privileged geographical situation.


  • ALHAMBRA:This very quiet district it''s situated 5 minutes from the Alhambra and the city centre and it''s ideal to visit the city''s squares, the Cathedral, el Paseo de los Tristes, la Carrera del Darro and the essential routes to know Granada and discover such emblematic districts like Albacin and Sacromonte.You can find restaurants, tapas bars and souvenirs all around his nice narrows streets.

  • CACIN situated within dramatic scenery and stunning views which change with the seasons, in the heart of rural Andalucia, yet only 30 minutes from Granada, this charming undiscovered village represents a haven for walkers, artists, bird watchers and anyone looking for peace, tranquility and relaxation. Explore the surrounding areas such as the beautiful Lake Bermajales with its tree lined beaches and the spa town of Alhama de Granada where you can also find with shops, banks, restaurants.. The Sierra Nevada and its ski resort are just over 1 hours drive. The trogloditic city of Guadix is less than 1 hour away.

  • REALEJO is a central neighbourhood in Granada. Here you’ll find some important monuments, as well as an important commercial district. The only important public space of this quarter is the Campo del Príncipe, created by the Reyes Católicos (Catholic Kings). In the summer the Campo is a centre for night life, with may tables and bars surrounding it. In the slope that rises from the Campo del Príncipe there is a nice church of the Patron of Granada, San Cecilio. Approximate walking distances are: 10 minutes to the Cathedral, 30 minutes to the Plaza de Toros, 5 minutes to the Alhambra, and 15 minutes to the Palacio de Congresos (The Congress Palace).




  • MARACENA. Maracena is a municipality placed in the central part of the Vega of Granada in the south-east of Spain. It is surrounded by the municipalities of Peligros, Pulianas, Granada, Atarfe and Albolote. Its name would mean the Maratio''s villa/estate. Nowadays it is one of the most important municipalities in the Metropolitan Area since it’s populated by almost 10 % of the total population of the agglomeration around the capital. Between 13th and 17th of August approximately, take place celebrations of San Joaquín, patron of Maracena. You can enjoy the location in the green areas as much as the proximity (only 3 km) to Granada.
    It is also situated next to Kinepolis Commercial Park, the largest commercial mall in Granada (with cinemas, restaurants, shops, supermarkets).
  • QUÉNTAR. Quéntar is a mountain village in the province of Granada, about 13km from the city. The village lies in a valley at the foot of the mountain Sierra Nevada, near a small river called “Rio Aguas Blancas”. It is a very quiet place, surrounded by nature and ideal for hiking in summer and for skiing or snowboarding in winter. In the village you will find a supermarket, a tobacco shop, some bars and a hotel, a pharmacy and a bank. There are lots of cherries and olive trees. A wonderful excursion you could make is to the storage lake called "Embalse de Quéntar" or "Pantano", which is located 4 Km away from the town (between Quéntar and Tocón). You can also visit a natural park called “Sierra de Huétor”. There’s a bus leaving each hours form Granada towards Quéntar.
