• HARBOUR. Makrigialos is situated 20 minutes away from Thessaloniki and 40 minutes from the skiing station of Elatokori.
  The name means “long beach” and it is well-known for its clear water and white sandy beaches. Not too far away, you can visit some important historical marks, such as Olympus Mount or the archaeological site of Carlo Magno.
  The harbour area is full of restaurants, bars (Apotheke Cafe, Olimpio Cafè, Nostos) and it is the perfect place to have a drink, meet people or to go for a walk on the promenade.
