  • MEDINA.It was built in 1126-1127 by the Almoravida administration. With the dinasty fall, in 1147, most of the monuments were destroyed. During the 1147-1158 period, Abd el Mu''men built, above the almoravides ruins, the Kutubia mosque, whose 77mt tower is one of the city symbol.
