• VOMERO is a hillside quarter of Naples, Italy.
  It borders to the north on the quarter of Arenella, to the west on the quarters of Soccavo and Fuorigrotta, to the south on Chiaia and to the east on the quarters of Avvocata and Montecalvario.
  Nowadays Vomero is a residential zone that has conserved little from this rural past. Since the beginning of the 20th century the area has had a dramatic increase in residential housing. During this period, numerous dwellings were built around Villa Floridiana, Castel Sant''Elmo and San Martino, including villas in the late Art Nouveau style and large apartment houses for the upper middle class. Nevertheless, there are still historic buildings near the above-named monuments, such as the Villa del Pontano and an old building of the Bourbon customs office.
  
  
• POSILLIPO. Posillipo is the headland of uncommon beauty that closes on the west the city of Naples and divides the bay in front of Naples from that one of Pozzuoli. • SAN FERDINANDO. • PORTO. The port of Naples is one of the most important in Italy and from here you can reach easily the wonderful islands nearby, Capri, Ischia, Procida or Amalfi, Sorrento and Positano. Not too far are located Napoli Sotterranea and the National Museum, while in few minutes you can get to the historical centre walking or catching the bus. • MERCATO - PENDINO. The Market and Pendino is the perfect zone to enjoy the real life of Naples, with the traditional perfumes and tastes. Nearby you can find the Cathedral with the Treasury of San Gennaro, Cristo Velato, the new Museum of Contemporary Art, S. Gregorio Armeno and the road of the craftsmen well known for Christmas cribs decorations. • MONTECALVARIO. The picturesque district of Montecalvario is situated a few minutes away from Piazza del Plebiscito and San Carlo Theather. Not too far you can visit Galleria Umberto I and San Martino Museum, with easy access to the funicular and the subway to reach the historical center. Furthermore, nearby you can find a lot of bars and pizzerías, typical of the ciy of Naples
  
• SAN CARLO ALL’ARENA. The district of San Carlo got its name from the homonymous church, called "all'' arena" after the sand that once used to cover the road.

• S. GIUSEPPE. San Giuseppe is the most elegant area of the city-centre. The most visited attractions are Plebiscite Square (entirely restored and symbol of the renaissance), Real Palace, Theatre of San Carlo, Galleria Principe Umberto, the famous bar "Coffee Gambrinus" (Oscar Wilde, Vico and Caruso spent many hours there), the Promenade and Mergellina with Castle Angioino-Aragonese, Chiaia Villa. In this area there are best and most elegant shops of the city, many fashion boutiques (Mariano Rubinacci suits and Marinella ties), but also restaurants, cafés and discotheques.
  
• S. LORENZO-VICARIA. The zone is well-known for the presence of one of the most ancient churches in Naples, the church of San Lorenzo, a gothic example of architecture and a source of literary inspiration for Boccaccio and Petrarca. Surely it can be considered one of the most picturesque and central areas in Naples, with numerous bar, restaurants and pizzerias typical of this ancient district of the city
  
• STELLA. The Via Stella is located near the Piazza Cavour, one of the biggest squares of Naples, which is located at the northern part of the Old Town. The Old Town is the heart of Naples, and has something for everyone. This is due to the high number of historic buildings like mysterious catacombs and churches, which you reach through narrow streets. In 1995 UNESCO added the Old Town of Naples to the World Heritage Site. Here you will find many shopping opportunities especially handcrafts, antiques, souvenirs and traditional pizzerias.

• PORTICI.Situated to the layers of the Vesuvio and seriously damaged from the eruption of 1631, bloomed again at the times of Carlo III of Bourbon that begin to build in 1738 the famous Real Villa, today university site. Well-known to have been the first Italian railroad, the line Portici – Naples was built to connect the capital with the royal palace. Obligatory visit is the National Railroad Museum of Pietrarsa that fosters of the proud Royal Italian train. In Portici there are numerous villas that are part of the so-called “Gold Mile” of the neapolitan XVII century, built after the interest provoked in the aristocracy from the Vesuvius, from the Royal Palace and from the finding of Herculaneum and of Pompei.
  
  
  
• PENISOLA SORRENTINA.The tourist resorts of Sorrento Peninsula, like Sant’agata Tra I Due Golfi with their feature cliffs, bays and inlets, rise in the heart of the Gulf of Naples, nearby Vesuvius volcano and very famous tourist resorts, archaeology and geysers such as Capri, Ischia, Pompei, Ercolano, Castellammare di Stabia, Positano, Amalfi, all reachable by sea or by car in 20 minutes.

• PROCIDA The charming island of Procida lies like an undiscovered garden next to its vibrant sister islands Ischia and Capri. Procida is the smallest and oldest island in the Bay of Naples and is, like Ischia, of volcanic origin. From the harbour Marina Grande you can walk or take a threewheeled microtaxi up the steep road to the S. Maria delle Grazie church.
