  • 1/ LE LOUVRE. The geographical center of Paris, showcasing the Louvre, the world''s finest museum. Walk in the Tuileries Gardens, opposite the Pyramid. Place Vendôme is home to Paris'' jewelers Van Cleef & Arpels and Boucheron. Haute couture designers such as Yves St-Laurent and Christian Dior can be found on rue Saint-Honoré. For more affordable prices, go to the Forum des Halles, inner Paris'' largest shopping mall.

  • 2/ LA BOURSE. Bourse district is obviously the commercial and financial heart of the city. The homonimous building, enormous and in neoclassical style, was make built by Napoleon in the first years of 1800. In the nearby, there is furthermore the National Library, with more than twelve millions copies and the Bible of Gutenberg, and you can also find a lot of restaurants and Parisian cafés. The connections to public transportation are excellent, but you can also reach the city centre with few steps
  • 3/ LE TEMPLE. Le Temple area is one of the most fascinating and mysterious of Paris, because retraces the history of the Templars. Exactly next to "Le Temple" underground station, you can distinguish the wonderful Statue of Liberty and the homonymous square, also the Tower of the Temple, the Fountain or the Jewish Museum. A short walk from Rue Rosiers and Rue Vieille du Temple will let you discover the number of cultures and communities that here coexist, appreciating the restaurants, the fashion shops or the cafés visited by intellectuals and artists.
  • LA BUTTE-MONTMARTRE. Montmartre., a hilltop neighborhood with a small village feel. Dominating the hill is the Sacré-Coeur basilica. It is incredibly charming and has a wonderful view of the city from the stairs of the basilica. Also famous is the Pigalle area at the base of the stairs for its nightlife: bars and clubs. You can visit The Moulin Rouge and Galeries Lafayette.

  • 6/ LUXEMBOURG, Quartier Latin. This neighborhood takes its name from the Sorbonne, the University of Paris. Rue Mouffetard is a primary artery where shops, restaurants, bars and cafés are found. All the most prestigious high schools and schools attached to the University are centered around the Panthéon. Visit the Jardin des Plantes and its zoo and the amphitheatre of Lutetia, a vestige of Roman times. The Museum of the Middle Ages is in the Square de Cluny, and the riverside walkways host hundreds of second-hand books sellers.

  • 13/ PLACE D''ITALIE:The 13th district is mainly famous for Paris'' Chinatown, a district with a lot of restaurants that offer delicious dishes at reasonable prices. There are also many possibilities for shopping strolls. The district is connected with the metro lines 5, 6 and 7 to Place d''Italie and with the new line 14 with final stop at Grande Bibliothèque. The metro line number 7 connects directly with Chinatown. Places of interest nearby are La Manufacture des Gobelins, La Bibliothèque Nationale de France and Bois de Vincennes.
  • 6/ SAINT GERMAIN. Saint Germain district, in arrondissement 6, got his name from the ancient church Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Initially born as a bohemian and intellectual ditrict and well-know for the existencialist movement (some famous caffés are for example Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore), is nowadays a chic zone of Paris, with shops, boutiques, restaurants an art galleries. Saint Germain des Prés e Mabillon underground station represent furthermore a good connection to the most important touristic attraction.
  • 1/ CHATELET. Châtelet the geographical and historical centre of Paris. The oldest and most pittoresque parts of Paris like Le Marais, Saint Germain, Latin Quarter, Ile Cité and Ile St. Louis are all in a walking distance. Châtelet is a lively neighborhood with lots of trendy bars, shops and restaurants and an authentic Parisian lifestyle.
  • 5/QUARTIER LATIN, MOUFFETARD. The Latin Quarter of the 5th Arrondissement got its name from the Sorbonne, where Latin was the common tongue for all students during the Middle Ages. Nowadays is also populated by students, but it can be considered as a business and commercial zone too. Rue Mouffetard, for example, is a primary artery of the city with lots of shops, restaurants, theathers, cinemas, bars and cafés.Furthermore, it is possible to reach the principal touristic attraction thanks to the underground connections.


  • LES GOBELINS. Neighbourhood located in the occidental part of the 13th district of Paris. In this area you will find many restaurants, bars and cinemas. The neighbourhoods of "Mouffetards" and of "La butte aux cailles" are very typical and are worth being seen. To get around, it will be very easy to have a walk until the Quartier Latin, Notre Dame, Jardin du Luxembourg and you will be able to use the public transport (subway or bus line) that bring you directly everywhere in Paris (The Louvre, Opera, Orsay…)
  • 14/ L''OBSERVATOIRE The Observatoire Avenue built in 1866 goes from the Luxembourg Garden to the Observatory. At the Camille Jullian Square it’s 80m large and is part of the Luxembourg Garden with the Cavelier de la Salle (where you have the Observatory Fontain) and Marco Polo Gardens.
    Other importants buidings of this area are the Pavillon des Fontainiers and the Art And Archaeology Institute and of course the Observatory built by Claude Perrault and François d''Orbay beetween 1668 and 1672.

  • VAUGIRARD. Vaugirard is an old French village of the department of the Seine. It is one of the 4 villages completely annexed by Paris in 1860 and was incorporated to the XVº district. His principal street gave his name to the street of Vaugirard, the longest of Paris. The subway station “Vaugirard” (line 12) is in the heart of the old town. This neighbourhood has many sites with turistic and cultural interests. You will find the park of the expositions and the Palace of the Sports, the Pasteur institute, the garden of the Luxembourg and as well the Odeon theatre.
  • 16/ PASSY. A district with very good public transport connections, the line 72 is going through all Paris, you will see all the important monuments and the line passes all along the Seine. A big choice of commerces is present, like the big store Franck et Fils, also the covered markets of Passy, Restaurants (french, japonese, chinese, italian…), coffees, supermarkets and cinemas. You are only about 2 footsteps away from the Trocadéro Place and his gardens, the Eiffel Tower, the Chaillot Palace and the wine museum. You can also enjoy from the big and relaxing parc ‘’bois de Boulogne’’ which is about 5 km away from the Passy district, and for all the Tennis fans, you will find the stadion Roland Garros about 10-15 minutes walking (or 7 Metrostations from Porte d’Auteuil).
  • 17/ LES BATIGNOLLES-MONCEAU. The 17th district arose from the union of two still rural communities in 1860: Batignolles and Monceau. The well-known Arc de Triomphe is 1.500 m away and at 700 m is the Ternes Square. In the middle of this district you find the nice and comfortable Batignolles Square that is worth a visit. Les Batignolles-Monceau is a residential and very upscale district with only a few tourists. An exception is the Clichy Square which is starting point for numerous visitors of the Montamartre.
  • LES BUTTES-CHAUMONT is situated in the 19th district of Paris. In this district you will find the most beautiful park of the capital, called Buttes Chaumont, a place which is ideal for walks, hilly, with watercourses and cascades, also you will find ponds. You can do picnic or jogging, like the residents do. You will find a lot of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops.
  • B20/ MENILMONTANT. The Maurice Chevalier''s and Edith Piaf''s neighborhood is full of unsuspected treasures: hidden interior court, gardens, workshops of artists and alleys are going to surprise you at every step. Test the atmosphere of this town in full Paris with its stores, restaurants and bars with terrace. In the neighboring markets you will find cheap and fresh products. In the famous cemetery of the Père Lachaise you will meet illustrious disappeared persons as Molière, Chopin or Jim Morrison. The terrace of the park of Belleville offers you one of the prettiest panorama of the city, and if you are looking for a piece of nature go in the park of the Buttes -Chaumonts. And all that at only 15 mn in metro of the very center of Paris (Châtelet)!




  • LE MARAIS Fashionable bars, shops and restaurants line the streets. Rue des Rosiers is the centerpiece of Jewish lifestyle. The two islands of Paris, l''Ile de la Cité (where Notre-Dame is located) and l''Ile St-Louis were the center of Paris in the Middle Ages. Here you will find the lovely Square Place des Voges, The main focus for contemporary art in France is also in this part of town, at the Beaubourg/Pompidou Centre.

  • LES MINISTRES. Generally called "the ministries district", it also hosts some of Paris'' most famous monuments: the Invalides (Napoleon''s Tomb), the Eiffel Tower, the Champ de Mars and L''Ecole Militaire. Between Quai Voltaire and Rue de l''Université, hundreds of antique dealers will welcome you in Carré Rive Gauche. The Musée d''Orsay, famous home of the Impressionists, is located along the quai in the renovated train station Gare d''Orsay (1848).
  • 11/ OBERKAMPF (name of a German industrial, importer of fabric into France) is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in Paris. At night by it’s numerous bars and restaurants and during the day by it’s huge market that happens every Tuesdays and Fridays. As well, thanks to it’s location, innumerable monuments in the capital are easily accessed like the Opéra Bastille, and the “Père Lachaise” graveyard.
  • BASSIN DE LA VILLETTE. To the northeast (19e arrondissement) of Paris, “Le Bassin de la Villette” was during generations the center of a district populated by the working class but it became recently a place of great development in Paris, with a very famous point of interest “la Cité des Sciences et de l''Industrie” constructed in the north of the Ourcq channel. The residential buildings throughout “le Bassin de la Villette”, post-modern and impeccable preserve the industrial style of the factories that they replaced and allow a calm stay in the capital.

  • LE PERREUX SUR MARNE is situated 16 km or 20 driving minutes away from the city centre of Paris (8 km from the Parisian periphery), the famous Disneyland is 30 driving minutes away. It is one of the most beautiful outskirts of Paris, surrounded by La Marne. The region of La Marne is famous for its traditional pubs and is ideal for both walking and biking (rental outlet nearby). Le Perreux and its surrounding communities Nogent, Bry, Champigny, Joinville and Vincennes are full of history and offer many places of interest.
  • MONTPARNASSE is part of the XIVe arrondissement .The area''s name was given by students who used to come and tell poems on the hill in the XVII''th,in reference to The "Parnasse"''s hill,the residence of the Muses in the greek mythology.It was also given to the station: Gare Montparnasse,to the cimetery Montparnasse (where are resting among others: Charles Baudelaire, Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Samuel Beckett, Guy de Maupassant, Sainte-Beuve and Serge Gainsbourg) and to the Montparnasse tower.
    The 1889 Universal Exhibition,and such a rich artistic life attracts numerous painters,writers and poets.The popular area becomes the center of the Modernity and explodes during the twenties:les Années folles.It was then the heart of intellectual and artistic life in Paris,and its famous cafés such as Le Dôme ou La Coupole have entered the History of Art.
    Nowdays,it''s an office''s area during the day and its nightlife offers a unic choice of cafés,restaurants and cinemas.
  • BASTILLE. The Bastille or more exactly the Bastille Saint Antoine was a fortress built on the current square of the Bastille in Paris. It was, at the beginning, a castle and arsenal built to defend the Saint Antoine’s door and the walls of the East of Paris but later on was transformed into a prison. Today it is the symbol of the beginning of the French Revolution. It is still possible to see some relics on the subway station of Bastille and in the Galli square. This district is very animated, with many fairs, concerts and markets. Bastille square is very appreciated on Fridays and Saturdays evenings for its coffees, restaurants, cinemas and discotheques. There is also the Opera Bastille. The access is very easy thanks to the subway and bus transportation.
  • 11/ SAINT AMBROISE.The district is situated in the centre of Paris. Dynamic managers want to live here because it is very peaceful and in the same time a lively area with its markets, Parisian cafés, bowls contests, gardens, and located very close to fashionable restaurants and bars of Bastille and Republique, Le Marais. From there you will access the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre easily and quickly by metro.

  • 16/ AUTEUIL,Auteuil, Chaillot and Passy have an impressing 20th century architecture. The rural character of these quiet districts makes the visitor feel welcome. At the same time it is widely regarded as the neighbourhood of the wealthy. Auteuil has a lot of museums, the Trocadero''s square and the famous Bois de Boulogne. You find a varied cultural offer here and luxury shopping malls as well.
  • 12/REUILLY-BOIS DE VINCENNES Reuilly is a residential neighborhood bordered on the west.
    by the Bois de Vincennes (a nice park within a 5 minutes walk). The access to public transport (bus and metro) is very convenient with direct connections to the basic stations Bastille, Opéra, Madelene, Concorde and Invalides. It is a calm and safe district. Nearby you find the renowned Daumesnil Avenue with a lot of banks, comercial centres and a famous market taking place 2-3 times a week.

  • 10/ GARE DU NORD.In the heart of the 10th district of Paris, a lively district with many different restaurants, with shops at less than 50 m and with shopping centres (amongst one bio supermarket) within a walking distance. This district has a lot of theatres (i.e. the Porte Saint-Martin, the Gymnase, the Renaissance, the Splendid), cinemas and the "New Morning" for those who love jazz. It is between the city centre of Paris and the district of Montmartre with the metro (line 4) connecting both districts. Nearby is the district of the antique shops and the famous auction hall Drouot. Numerous bus stops are also nearby (lines 38, 39, 47) and at the Gare de l''Est (East Train Station) you have access to 2 more metro lines. Around there are several parking places for those who travel by car.
  • 8/ CHAMPS-ELYSÉES, MADELEINE. Avenue des Champs Elysées is for sure most famous street in the French capital with its numerous shops and thanks to its well-known world fame attracts thousand of tourist every day of the year. Nearby you can visit the wonderful Church of the Madeleine, with its 52 Greek-temple style columns and its famous frescos in the inside. Close by you can find also lots of cinemas, theatres, pubs and discos for those who love going out at night.

  • LA VARENNE-ST.HILAIRE. LA VARENNE-ST.HILAIRE, is situated 10 Km away from Paris and it is surrounded by the river Marne. In the XIXº century the zone was a holiday destination for lots of Parisians and also represented a source of inspiration for the impressionists portraits of Camille Pisarro. There''s easy access to Paris via the Metro or RER. RER A lead you each 5’ to the best spots: Châtelet, the very center of Paris near Le Louvre and the Ile Saint-Louis in 20’- Auber, near the Opera Garnier and the “ Grands Magasins, in 25’- Charles de Gaulle, Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees in 30’. Near the station, you will find all kind of shops (groceries, bakeries, cheese shop, wine shop...), restaurants and outside markets. Don’t forget to visit and to taste the famous Guinguettes,typical restaurants on the river which recreate the parisian ambient of the 30es with dances and acordeón.
  • EPINAY SUR SEINE. Is part of the metropolitan municipality of Paris, situated 12 km on the north of the capital, on the right bank of Seine. The centre of the village is situated around the church; there are big streets and some alleyways going down towards the Seine. Around the land: cereal crops, stream ( ru Enghien), and grapevines on the escarpment dominating the Seine. Epinay sur Seine is at a few minutes of Paris, by train 10 minutes until Porte de Clichy and by car just 15 minutes.
  • TROCADERO, site of the neoclassical Palais de Chaillot, is an area of Paris, in the 16th arrondissement, across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower. Five avenues come from the Trocadéro: the avenue Henri-Martin which goes to the porte de la Muette and passes in front of the lycée Janson de Sailly (Janson de Sailly secondary school); the avenue Paul Doumer which goes to the Muette; the avenue d''Eylau which goes to the place of Mexico; the avenue Kléber which goes to the place de l''Etoile; and the avenue d''Iéna which go to the musée Guimet.
    Excellent underground connections to the centre and other turist attractions.
  • VAUCRESSON. Situated in the area Hauts-de-Seine,7 Kilometres to the west of Paris, to midway between Versailles and Holy Cloud. Vaucresson well deserves its name of a green city: in fact, on an area of 308 hectares, 22 hectares are classified as natural areas and 85 as a recreational area. More than 30 hectares are protected as "wood classified spaces". Some monuments and important sights located here are: the Parochial Holy Church denys (XII century) and the Castle of Vaucresson. The town is served by the train station of Vaucresson, which is part of the Parisien line.
  • LEVALLOIS-PERRET: Levallois-Perret is a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris. It is located 7 Km (4 miles) from the city center of Paris. This is one of the most densely populated municipalities in Europe. The city of Levallois is one of the finalists of a famous competition about the cities and villages most bloomed of France and she obtained recently the big national price of the flowering. The position of this zone is excellent due to the proximity with the numerous congress located at the “espace Champerret”. This is an ideal neighborhood for the business or touristic stays that will allow you to move easily in the capital.
  • VINCENNES. Vincennes is a city in the suburbs of Paris. Its name comes from the Vincennes’s wood, which is located in the south of the city but that belongs to Paris. Vincennes is famous for the Vincennes’s castle, which was originally part of the foundation of the city. Thanks to the subway (Station of Château de Vincennes) and to the RER A you will easily get to the centre of Paris (15 minutes) crossing the principal stations and place of Paris. With the RER A you will have a direct access to the park Disneyland Paris. The flower park and the wonderful Wood of Vincennes are perfect to take a walk while taking advantage of the nature.
    You will also find all the necessary shops to your stay: supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries. You can also enjoy the market of Vincennes 3 times a week. For your leisure you will find tennis, squash, theatre, cinema, swimming pools.
  • VITRY-SUR-SEINE. Vitry-on-Seine is a city of France, in the southern suburbs of Paris. Situated on the hillside, the city includes a large green area involving the Seine around Port-à-l''Anglais Bridge. As monuments and important tourist attractions you will find Saint Germain Church with his market and Port-à-l’Anglais, the bridge above the Seine. In Vitry you can also visit the Museum of Contemporary Art of Val-de-Marne, which was inaugurated on the 18th of November 2005 and which proposes workshops of plastic arts, a public studio and an art cinema. Vitry-sur-Seine has been developing for long years a cultural policy allowing every body to discover and enjoy art. More than 100 sculptures of contemporary art are established in the city.
