  • Palmovka.In the center os the city, the area that was setted around Old Town as it spread east away from the Vltava river. You can walk to The Charles Bridge and Old Town Square, Old Town Square and the adjoining streets have a lot to offer. Before you visit the Old Town Hall and climb its tower to overlook the historical city, stop to see the mechanical wonder of the late medieval engineering: The Astronomical Clock. where you . Area used to be the quartes were the working class live.

  • STARÉ MĚSTO. Old Town (Staré Mesto) is the neighborhood with a seductive and magical environment. It is only few meters along the streets- with the stores with souvenirs and invaded by the crowd- to arrive at the Plaza of Old Town (Staromestské námestí) - with its palaces, churches, monuments and its market. You can admire all the monuments, as well as symbol of Prague - the Charles Bridge (Karluv most) that joines the historic neighborhoods of Old Town and Malá Strana. On the north we have neighborhood called Josefov, the Jewish quarter - with its getto, Jewish Museum, synagogues, cemetery.

  • VYSOCANY.Vysocany area is located in Prague''''s 9th district where you ''''ll find one of the most modern european stadium :Sazka arena, where are held numerous cultural and sports events,in this area you will also find parks, restaurants, shopping and sports centres, cinemas and theatres.
    Really close from the apartment are all grocery shops needed, post office and Tennis courts (1km away)
    Nearest Metro station are : Ceskomoravska and Vysocanska( 800m away ) or Palmovka (2km)

  • BARRANDOV.The town district Barrandov is located near the highway Pilsen Prague, just 15 minutes from the center of town by tram or bus, public transport 24 hours a day.
    In this area you will find parks, restaurants, cafés, pizzerias, small shops, sport centers and supermarkets.
    This area is also extremely popular with both hikers and cyclists. Apartment Barrandov has got a beautiful view of a green area Prokopske valley, which is a very attractive place for walks.
    Nearest Metro station is: Smichovske nadrazi (15 min by tram).

  • HRADCANY. The district of Hradcany (Castle) is the most ancient in Prague and, with its renaissance baroque and gothic appereance, it is situated in the northern part of the historical center. Nearby you can find the Cathedral of S. Vito, the Real Palace, the Monastery of Strahov, the churches of Loreto and S. George and the Petrin park. Not too far from here, you can reach walking or catching the tram the Mala Strana and Stare Mesto neighbourhoods, and with the bus it is possible to get to the biggest shopping center of Praga, the Smichovske Centrum.
  • MALA STRANA. Mala Strana (The Small Side) , is also part of Prague 1, but it is across the river from Old Town (Staré Město) and Josefov. Nestled on the hill just below Prague castle, Mala Strana is a romantic old neighbourhood with picturesque buildings crowded along twisting cobblestone lanes where you''ll find lots of the oldest architectural master pieces in town. Mala Strana situated 2 min. walk away from Charles Bridge might have more of a fairy tale feeling than even Staré Město. There are many shops and cafes, but few offices - giving Mala Strana a more relaxed character than the other side of the river.


  • STARE MESTO/KONVIKTSKA. This apartment is situated in the very heart of Prague''s Old Town (Staré Město) near the Bethlehem Square ( the Bethlehem Chapel is the one where Jan Hus, a famous Czech christian reformer, used to preach in the 15th century) and the St. Crucifix Church which is an 11th century Roman rotunda,a charming traffic free area with medieval colourful houses, gothic and baroque churches and also many pleasant restaurants, bars and clubs

  • ŽIŽKOV Žižkov''s hilly quarter is the beating heart of the ancient and modern political, artistic and literary history of Prague.Together with its authentic Czech restaurants and pubs, shops and major attractions including the Vitkov hill, the avante-guard TV Tower and the modern Jewish cemetery where Franz Kafka is buried,its also very central location,near by the immense and charming Riegrovy Park offering a breathtaking view on the Prague Castle and the Old Town roofs.

  • HOLESOVICE. Holešovice is a nice district of Prague just next to the Old Town. It was build in the beginning of 20th century and you will find a lot of beautiful buildings here. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants. One of the biggest advantages is that Holešovice is less than 10 minutes from the Old Town by metro or tram. There is also an international railway station. You can relax or do picnic in one of two beautiful parks– Letná and Stromovka. You can visit Gallery of Contemporary Art or sports or cultural events at Výstaviště. Your kids will appreciate Prague’s famous and modern ZOO. Very easy is also traveling from and to the airport. There is a special bus line "AE" which will take you directly to the airport in 35 minutes for less then 3 Euro.
  • NEW TOWN. New Town is the youngest and largest of the four independent cities that today comprise the historic center of modern Prague. It can trace its current layout to its construction in the 14th century; few magnificient gothic and baroque churches and administrative buildings from this time survive. New Town''s most famous landmark is Wenceslas Square, which was originally built as a horse market and now functions as a center of commerce and tourism, very active and full of restaurants, bars, and shops.
  • KARLIN-PRAGUE 8. Prague 8-Karlin district, which initially represented an industrial and productive area, is now considered a quite residential area. Nowadays is for sure the part of Prague which represents in the best way the urban development involving the city.
    You can get walking to the city centre in few minutes, or using the public transportation (underground line A-C or tramway).
    Furthermore, there are many shops, restaurants, bars, sport activities, cinemas and theatres.

  • SMICHOV. This district of Prague, situated on the left shore of the Vltava river, changed his appearance in the last years. Until the nineteenth century, the outside areas of Prague were filled with factories and industries but nowadays they turned out to be a commercial, cultural and residential zone next to the historic centre of Prague.
    You will find restaurants, bars, shops and cinemas in this sector but also a huge commercial mall and a supermarket.
    There are excellent and numerous public transportations in this area and you will not have any difficulties to reach all the main destinations of this wonderful city.
