• PUT ZA OPATIJU.This is a residential area, quiet and green, where there are villas with large gardens. It is located on the road between Rijeka and the tourist town of Opatija. At less than 1 km distance you can find a drugstore, an exchange office and shops. The city centre is 10 km far away. The easiest way to reach other neighbourhoods is by car, which will allow you to get to the monumental area in few minutes as well as to the lively centre areas, with restaurants and bars. This is an ideal place if you like to take a rest before catching one of the ferries leaving from Rijeka port.
  
• KANTRIDA. This is a residential area with green areas. It is located on the coast, approximately 5 Km from the centre of Rijeka. From here you can easily reach also the city of Opatija. In the area there are many sport complexes: tennis courts, recently renowned swimming pools, and the famous Kantrida Stadium, built in 1925, with views to the Adriatic Sea. A beach with pebbles is very close too. The area is connected to the city centre by bus. In the neighbourhood you will easily find shops and bars.
