There is throughout the city many beautiful buildings in the Art Nouveau, as well as numerous museums and historic buildings. To go for a nice dinner, entertainment and nightlife is mainly offered in the inner city. Leipzig is famous as one of the oldest fairs cities in the world (the first exhibition was in 1190). A nice excursion you will have in the green area of the Zoological Garden, with its approximately 900 species of animals from all over the world, which is situated in northwest of the city. Leipzig has an excellent network of public transports (trams, buses and trains).
