Along the Dizengoff Street, as well as in the area around the Masaryk Square there are also many designers’ shops. Not far away there is the Gan Meir Park and two of the most famous Tel Aviv beaches: the Gordon and the Freeman Beach, where also some good restaurants are located. The most important square in the central area is the Rabin Square (formerly known as the Kikar Malachey Israel Square), home to the City Hall. Here is where the Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin was murdered in 1995. The district is well served by public buses.
