THE OLIVERETA. The street that was called the Olivereta, diminutive name of the Valencian word: olivera, started from the Mosén Sorell square and arrived to the square then called the Olivereta. The origin of the name is due to the existence in this square, of an olive tree, in a overdraft or garden. Now, the garden has lasted, but with it, another street in a different place is appointed. It is a neighbourhood very encouraged with all its restaurants, stores, its theatre but also the Convent of Santa Clara classified Historic Monument.
