In the summer months there are more buses, but it's worth booking a seat as the route can get very busy. Alternatively, you can grab a bus from the centre of Barcelona by heading to Barcelona's central Sants station and getting the metro to the Nord bus station.

Roses is also well connected with Figueres, so you can get the train from Barcelona or Girona to Figueres and then get the regular bus into Roses.
