The location is perfect for anyone interested in a few days in East Berlin, but also ideal for further travel as it's close to transport. 5 mins from Ostkreuz, 20 mins from Shonefeld, right on the tramline. Within 200 yards there are several coffee shops, mini-markets, a Vegan diner, a Vietnamese restaurant, an organic supermarket. It's clean and quiet as it's on the 5th floor with good soundproofing.
There was no coffee maker or cafetiere. There was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for 4 guests for two nights. The lift is very small and sensitive - if 4 people get in, it might work, but it might not.
It was not clear that we were expected to leave the keys in the hole at the bottom of the stairs, so we took them back to the shop where we collected them.
Apartment is in a great location, close to the train station and lots of restaurants nearby.
Everything was good, no complaints.
Apartamento pequeño pero con todo lo necesario para estar súper a gusto 4 personas. La estancia es muy cómoda para dormir, tanto la cama como el sofá. Un barrio tranquilo y con buena accesibilidad a toda la ciudad. Immejorable.
Location was marvellous
Bins outside needed a key.
Very well situated in walking distance to public transport, eating places, groceries etc.
Spacey and light apartment. Clean.
Good coffea maker (Bialetti)
My pillow was way to soft. I'll bring my own next time.
The microwave oven should be replaced with a real oven!
Very spacious and comfortable. Clean (appartment from the floor. See below) easy walking distance from the railway station and the Lidl store just a cross the road proved to be very useful. Plenty of food outlets nearby, both eat in and Takeaway. It was winter when we visited but for the summer the spacious balcony looked very inviting.
The floor was very dirty in places. E.g. The main thoroughfare from door to sitting areas and kitchen area. This is something that should be addressed as I have several reviews mentions this.
A useful addition in the kitchen would be a washing up bowl.
The size, 2 bedrooms, was the only positive quality.
Location/proximity to Alexander Platz and the Museum Insel was great, but the actual neighborhood and building were deeply depressing, Soviet style, reminded me of Vladivostok, and not on a good day.
Don't stay here unless you are a masochist - head to Prenzlauer Berg, Mitte, Scheuneberg, Kreuzberg, or anywhere else!! Public transport is great in Berlin, so a little longer travel time is not an issue.
The kitchen counters and the refrigerator were filthy, as were the insides of the cabinets/cupboards. Multiple light bulbs were missing or not working, in the kitchen (above the stove), and including the light bulb above the bathroom mirror, making shaving impossible. To make things worse, one of the bathroom ceiling lights kept shutting off and on again by itself - very bad. To give credit where it is due, however, the bed linens were clean. We left 2 days early, just ran away.
Large. Great location.
Too hot inside. Turned off all heaters and still too hot.
Cosy small apartment, clean and quiet, close to many restaurants, shops and bars in Prenzlauer Berg. The windows have a view on a garden within the apartment complex.
Beds are good (not too hard or soft), the kitchen has most things you need. You can use a beamer to connect your mobile device via chromecast (easy to setup). The owner is friendly and helpfull.
We would certainly recommend this apartment to have a relax stay.
Although there is a beamer, we missed a bit a normal tv. But there is a nice radio in the kitchen. The bathroom is rather small, but clean and nicely decorated.
Convenient located. Cozy and well-equipped.
