Convenient location, equipment in working order, quiet despite being in a busy section
Excellent couple who own it, very kind and helpful. It is close to all the major attractions (10 min walk), bikes very useful and very reasonable cost for a nice clean and tidy place.
A kettle in the kitchen
The location is excellent. Metro very close. Apartment has windows. Ample electrical outlets, even in bathroom!
Construction outside everyday but will soon end.

There were several things that impressed me about this apartment, but its location is what I liked best. I also liked the cleanliness of the apartment.
The bed mattresses were a little too firm/hard. But after touring the city by foot and bicycle all day, we were still able to get a good nights rest despite the firm mattresses.
The area looked a bit sketchy on Google Maps Street View, and you hear so many stories about petty crime in Madrid. But the first day we went around the corner to the very good little grocery store and there were lots of older folks on the street, and mums with lilttle kids -- it's a neighbourhood. Centre town a 15 min walk or the no 50 or 36 bus.Theflat feels spacious and airy despite the ltd square footage. There were spices, oil, vinegar, coffee, detergent - thoughtful and generous hosts.
We can't think of anything we dislike and we're still sitting in the flat. There could be shelving in the bathroom instead of just the pedestal sink - travellers have toiletry kits! And there's no English-language TV channels, but who comes to Madrid for TV? All in all, we've been very pleased with this place.
There were plenty of nice Tapas bars and restaurants in the vicinity. The apartment was well equipped. It was easy to drive out to the golf courses we had selected.
The furniture is tired and worn out, the photographs in the advert do not represent its condition. There is no private parking, which was stated in the advert. Public car parking is expensive and 500 meters away.
Cannot rave enough about the way this apartment looked and the rooftop patio. Loved the feel of the place with the old wood beams, funky lights, and furniture. I chose the location because it was right next to Mercado St. Miguel which we ate at EVERY day. Walked everywhere from this great location. I would definitely stay here again because of the feel of the apartment itself. It is also very quiet inside in spite of the busy location.
The sink in the bathroom is strange and I disliked it and I used the kitchen sink because I was worried about dropping my contact lens into the bathroom sink.
The Plaza Mayor it is extremely touristy (this is beyond the control of the apartment owners ) however the views from the roof are worth it. This is not a good spot for people who can't do stairs nor is it good for toddlers or very young. Beds are adequate.
Location, internal space,
Wallpaper peeling from wall, temperamental wifi
The location is very good, only 300 yards from Peurta del Angel Metro and a 10 minute walk from the Royal Palace
It also directly above a great bakery with wonderful fresh croissants and 250 yards from a small supermarket with most of the supplies you might need
Thank you very much for your opinion, you are a lovely couple. I would be very happy you back at my house.
