Perfect location with a perfect appartement.
Whe like the appartement, only whe had to fix self the airco and a shame dat the cleanenr not working.
Excellent apt very well equipped close to metro , next to supermarket , great owner , i recommend it !,
great location, in walking distance of the most interesting places Bucharest has to offer. Easy public access. Away from the street noise if you close the windows and the door to the balcony.
Elevator is tiny and unpredictable. Shower is temperamental sending alternate waves of cold and hot water. Poor light in the bathroom makes shaving a risky adventure. Cooking facilities are enough for someone that eats mostly (always) outside. Very basic accommodation for a short stay. A longer stay presents challenges.
Apartments in the center are not new buildings, therefore lifts and stairs from 1950.
You could have more regard for cleansing and ordering. It does not leave apartments so dirty and in total disorder
This is a very new apartment in a modern block. It is quiet, close to good shopping, parks, banks, metro and not far from the city centre. It is well equipped and easy to keep clean and the rooms seem well sound proofed.
The owner (George) was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.
The only problem we had was that the fridge stopped working part way through our stay. This was unfortunate but could not be avoided and due to the weekend, could not be fixed before we left. Although we are keen cooks, it did not inconvenience us much, we just adjusted what we bought and stored the milk in a bowl of water like my grandmother used to. No problem ;-)
Best: Location! Close to Metro, bus. Within walking distance of most major sites, museums. Quiet area, no street noise, quiet courtyard. Markets and restaurants within walking distance. Air conditioned and heated. Very comfortable living space with all needed amenities. Owners very pleasant.
Least: Toilet needs to be better bolted to floor. Access to receive/turn in keys should be more flexible for travelers that need to check out and catch morning flights.
Address of home should be written in bold No 44
3 Calea Victoria means the name of building not a number of house.
Equipment is excellent.
Service by an owner of highest quality
The friendly owner was there to meet me when I arrived. The apartment was as described - a very spacious bed-sitting room with airco, a bathroom with good shower, lots of cupboard space and a kitchen with small breakfast bar. Very well situated for public transport yet sufficiently far away from the centre of Bucharest to give one a taste of the local community. Food markets with local produce a few minutes walk away and a supermarket on the ground floor make it an excellent location.
Location and comfort. Although situated at the busy University Square, noise was not an issue. Nice comfy seating, bed and air conditioning. Easy accessibility to public transport, eating places and tourist attractions. All old town attractions were within easy walking distance. George, the owner was delightful, very friendly and helpful. He was there to meet us, even although we were later than the agreed time due to flight delay and again on our departure. Couldn't have asked for more.
Cooking facilities. A kettle and toaster would have been useful. Written instructions on how to use equipment would have been helpful. The shower could have been better. But none of these really affected our stay in Bucharest. We loved it.
I think the apartment hat everything it needs to have. The location ist not really in town center, but by walk ist only 10 min. from the main central square and by metro it´s only 1 stop. For that price it´s really good and the neibourhood quiet and nice. There are also many shops to get fresh food and drinks.
The contact person also was really helpfull and nice.
We had really nice stay there. I recommend it.
The apartment was nice, clean and well-organized. I am very satisfied. The person was punctual to pick me up. The location is superb, in the real centre of the city.
