The Parc des Buttes-Chaumont (metro Buttes-Chaumont, Botzaris, line 7), is one of the largest open spaces in Paris with 25 acres, opened in 1867 by Napoleon III. It has a lake, an island, streams, waterfalls and several bridges including a suspension bridge 65 m above the lake. Several historic trees and rare species including two ginkgo biloba have been planted. It is also home to a fauna composed of many bird species. The view from the lookout is one of those most romantic of Paris.

The place is bright, immaculate, and in a wonderful neighborhood. Lots of windows, great views! Lovely hosts.
The only thing I might mention is that a few more towels would be welcome. We had sufficient towels, but a few extra would have been nice. No big deal.

La dificultad de acceso a la vivienda, debido a las escaleras de entrada, sobre todo para subir con maletas.

This apartment was perfect in every way! You need not look any further. 2 minute walk to the metro made Our stay even more wonderful, not to mention the cafes and patisserie right around the corner. The owners were so helpful. Emily even called me when I had trouble turning on the stove after she received my email. The apartment was very clean, stocked well and comfortable. Win ! Win! A hidden gem is a beautiful park right across the street on your way to the metro. Don’t miss it.
The only very small thing I would improve on is to have written instructions for using the stove. Not a big deal but it would have been nicely not to have to have bothered Emily with this.
