Rua Nova do Almada, Lisboa
Welcome to Feels Like Home Nova do Almada Central Flat!
Completely restored in the late 90s, this one bedroom apartment with a double bed was selected for a special inaugural event by the then mayor João Soares, as an example of excellency in the conservation of Pombaline architecture.
The interior is welcoming and modern. Hardwood flooring, fresh white and subtle décor elements perfectly compliment its outlook over the street, with trams gently clinking by.
This elegant apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with bathtub and a spacious living room with sofa-bed for two guests.
It is located right on the cusp of the Lisbon downtown and the classic Chiado district, and as such it is an example of fine living in one of the oldest cities in the world.
To know more about the city, you can take a ride on the emblematic number 28 light rail that stops very close to the apartment.

This section of Lisbon was the pride of Pombal and the very heart of his own great city. Certain activities have stayed in their historic buildings, such as the fish market at Cais de Sodre. From an architectural point of view places to view are the squares of Praça do Comercio and the Rossio. Also of interest is the church of Conceição Velha, the Se (Cathedral), and the 16th Century Casa dos Bicos.
Also nearby is the Luís de Camões square, where you can: enjoy an espresso in the most famous of Chiado's cafés, the Brasileira; go next door to sample a chocolate croissant from the no less famous Benard pastry and coffee shop; try out a 'ginginha de Óbidos' or one of the many traditional Portuguese products available from the refreshments kiosk before heading upwards to the Bairro Alto district. Once there, you can take your pick: a meal in one of the many quality restaurants, drinks in the bars and clubs peppered around the cobbled streets, or a more traditional Portuguese night of dinner and fado in one of the several Fado houses.
Actividades cercanas: Sightseeing, Shopping, Restaurants, Museums, Theaters, Concert halls, Antique shops
