La terrasse pas couverte comme sur la photo, manque un parasol car on ne peut pas en profiter en plein soleil.

Francesca was friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. I like the style of the apartment - simple and cheerful. Close to the sea (partial view from the balcony) and not far from good places to eat. Close to many amazing tourist attractions, and in walking distance from all the very best Palermo has to offer. Parking in the street below the apartment. Air con works well, well laid out, and everything was clean (esp. bed linen and towels), tidy and in good working order.

Despite being in a really good location, the area immediately around the apartment is quite run down, though actually much of Palermo is like that, and it still feels safe and friendly. Kitchen is a little under-equipped for full self-catering (e.g. there is a grill microwave, but no oven) - but the essentials were there.

This wonderful apartment is ideally located in Palermo's historic district and within walking distance to excellent restaurants, cafes,museums and antiquities. The owners, Davide & Donatella, express a sincere interest in their welcom. The apartment has all the amenities a seasoned traveler would expect and is highly recommended.

We couldn't find a negative! Apartment has all the modern conveniences including laundry, microwave, well-appointed kitchen, linens, etc.

It is a great location and comfortable apartment and we really enjoyed our time in Palermo.

A couple of larger bowls for serving would have been nice. Also a wooden spoon . Dessert spoons fallen apart. Kitchen equipment very minimal. One Dining chair fell apart. hair dryer does not fit sockets so no use. Old bottles with cigarette stubs left on terrace. Would have been nice to have clean towels provided at some stage during our 7 day stay.

Michelangelo and his wife went out of their way to welcome us, provide information and ensure we were comfortable. They were first class hosts.

Apartment claims to have fully equipped kitchen & coffee machine: there were 2 old coffee percolators with no handles so they couldn't be used, tin opener didn't work & there was no corkscrew. Apartment felt tired & worn - net curtains were grubby & torn - & it would have benefitted from some proper dusting & checking equipment works. 'Entire area full of shops' gives the wrong idea unless you like shopping in Carrefour hypermarket. Location 'in heart of Palermo' was a 30 minute walk to centre.

My husband and I liked the apartment very much. All furniture was good and comfort, very quite at night. Location was excellent and our host Alessandro was very helpful.

A clean and comfortable flat, though not as spacious as the photographs suggest (but what is?). The Kalsa is an interesting area, and it was good to be close to the sea and Piazza Marina. Very importantly for us, the flat was right on the route of a free bus that goes round the historic parts of the city. Very useful. There was also a very helpful infornation office virtually outsde the front door. Donatella and Davide were exceptionally welcoming and helpful.

As in virtually all Italian hotel rooms and flats, the lighting was quite inadequate for reading by, especially for older people whose eyes are not as good as they once were. More and better floor, table and bedside lights please! The bathroom was a bit cramped.
