The second of 2 apartments, recently renovated, in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Venice, where Venetian style and modern design blend perfectly. All apartments have a private entrance and garden.

Dorsoduro Garden Apt.2 is located on the first floor and comprises of a large entrance hall, a living room with dining table, a sofa bed and TV area, a separate fully equipped kitchen complete with fridge, oven, washing machine and dishwasher.

The first bedrooms is a double bedrooms and the second one have two individual both spacious and bright. The bathroom is equipped with WC, shower, washing machine and sink.

The additional comforts are flat LCD satellite television, air conditioning, hair dryer, toaster, vacuum cleaner, free WIFI and baby cot (on request).

The position of Dorsoduro Garden allows you to comfortably reach Piazzale Roma and the railway trains as well as assure you, with great simplicity and convenience, to reach the most famous sights of Venice. Not surprisingly, after San Marco, Dorsoduro district of Venice is an importan distric where the most important museums are concentrated: the main museum is the Accademia Gallery, founded by the painter Giambattista Piazzetta in 1750, and then moved there by Napoleon in 1807. Also significant are the Peggy Guggenheim Collection of modern and contemporary art at the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni (a private residence home of the American patron) and the contemporary art museum Punta della Dogana - François Pinault Foundation, headed by the structure of Palazzo Grassi, opened in 2009.

In Dorsoduro there are also Ca' Rezzonico, the Museum of Eighteenth Century, Ca ' Dario, the Great School of the Carmine and Ca' Foscari University.

The most important churches are the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, Church of Gesuati and Church of San Nicolò dei Mendicoli.

Very beautiful is Campo S. Margherita , with its shops and markets, frequented by Venetians and students.

The location was wonderful. Finding it was hard but would recommend an easier way especially with luggage. Would recommend from reception you take the water bus from Roma to St Toma’ Then provide a map to apartment through Santa Margherita Plaza. Also, the bath towels were very nice!

Right after the first night we had to make sure we found a grocery for toilet paper. On arrival only 1 1/4 rolls were in the apartment.
